Hi folks, Along time without posting, I have a S13 that I bought 2 years ago, but I wasn´t thinking about doing any mods, then I´ve registered in this forum and saw so many amazing project that I couldn´t resist to do the same, I must say, Its a very difficult project due to the country where I live, every part must be imported, and each Venezuelan citizen has a limitation to buy only 300$ per year over internet, but talk about that would be a little off topic, so here is my project, this is the car when I bought it and then started to mod it a little

I think my car came with those same exact indiglo face plates on the gauge cluster!

You have done a nice job on the car so far. The tablet is such a nice feature of the megasquirt units, don't you think? i love using mine in the car

Yes, its amazing, to be honest I wasn´t impressed with MSPNP2, but I was a completely noob in that area, when I started to deal with this unit, I ended loving it to dead hehe, I´ve switched from indiglo to a HUD cluster with projector and a DCC complete swap

This is the paint job that I did to the engine bay

Nice trigger wheel. How are you going to mount the VR sensor? Keep up the good work.

Actually Im going to use a Hall sensor, common Hall sensors works with 0-5v signals and I´ve found that B15 Crank sensors works like our CAS giving an output signal of 0-12v wich I already bought for testing purposes and confirm it works

Just a little update, Ive confirmed that nissan keeped the way that cam and crank sensor works, at least they did with b15, I will do some testing with the sensor mounted near the crank pulley and connecting it with one of the wires of distributor and see how my mspnp2 reacts lol

Good luck. Would like to see this work as it opens up a lot of development. I would like to get rid of the dizzy for a true crank trigger.

Had a great oportunity to buy an used Chasebays wiring harness very cheap, 150$ from a very good friend, he installed this wiring and his car didn´t run because the tps comes wired for universal type, but the technician didn´t know that, after changing all sensors, the tech guy maybe (**** guy) said that he didn´t know were the problem was, then my friend toke the car to another technician and bought a Wiring Specialties and it runs fine, the the tech guy saw were the problem was and intalled the wires correctly and problem solved.

I must say this wiring is awesome, its very light compared to stock, weight less than half the stock does.

where did you score the oil feed block?

Let me know if you find another harness like that for that price point, I will hop on it for sure! Great progress with those odds against you!

Now correct me if I'm wrong but you have the stock pressure sensor on the end and an aftermarket on the side? Where do you plumb in your feed line?

Josh

You are right, aem oil pressure sensor on the side and stock on the end, just in case, sometimes its easier to see a no pressure light on than seeing numbers and decide if its low or not.

For the oil feed I've removed an insert nut that is placed in the oil filter block, then threated to 10mm, putted an AN3 fitting with a braided steel clutch line wich is AN3 too, Ill post some pics for best explanation
