The engine has 10miles and I also let it decelerate by itself in 2, 3rd, 4th gear for a few miles. The stock intake and dizzy are on until aem is installed.

Did you put both chain guides on for the head? My UEGO reads fine at idle. Yours is probably lean at idle. As long as she does not stutter or stall, I would not worry until the AEM gets in. The oil and gas will not have any ill effects. If anything, it probably cleaned up some gunk in the galleys.

No guides that I know of. I'm hoping the lack of oil had it sounding that way. I was a quart or so low. The engine sound so low today i wouldn't know it was on if it didn't have the exhaust. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm not really liking this t3t4 turbo I've switched to. It has the same inlet and outlet size as my other t3t4 but the front cover is noticeably bigger in diameter. It's louder when it spools witch I like. My problem is this turbo has a pause once you floor it and then BOOM. all hell brakes loose. At 9psi the car pulls like my last setup @15psi on e85. And I'm on 93. My other turbo was matched up very well with the rpm and was on tap. No lag

Turbo lag is just another way of giving the other guy a fair chance.

How much of a size difference are we talking? What are the spec on the old and new turbo?

I didn't ever take the old one apart to check it. I still haven't banged through the gears yet because I'm only at 700 miles and wanna do one more oil change. I've finally rev'd it past 3,000rpm. Broke the tires loose for the 1st time lastnight and let out. Maybe it will be different if I go through the gears like I'm racing. I done a 3 gear then tried a 4th gear. The pause is only for a slight second.

If you want to make more power then there will be a little sacrifice for spool but what are 200 or 300
Rpm later in spool? It's nothing when you race you don't race at 3k rpms, you are already in the powerband which gives you instant boost. Since you are on a T3/T4 hybrid then you can simply advance your exhaust cam 2.5 - 7 degrees and I promise you will notice quicker spool. Huge difference. Ran this way for years and love the responsiveness.
Also I would relocate the wideband sensor right after turbo.

Got these and was wondering if they will lower the engine some. I need a Lil more clearance for a bigger turbo.

do those coils reach the plugs no problem or do you have to modify the valve cover or anything?

Got 1 of my sensors in I need to install the aemv2. In the mean time this Rs tune is kicking ass. Rolling in 4th gear and press the gas and the back tires try to break. Mind you that was on 20psi and the e85 tune. I run 16psi mostly. I can't imagine what a dyno tune will be like because right now the car is a hand full. I took my time breaking in the comp clutch and so far it ain't letting up.

Update on the car. Nothings been done besides adding a cheap touch screen and getting the windows tinted. I called a few places to get sensors and coils wired along with a dyno tune. The goin price is $1,000 around here. I've been on 15lbs whenever I drive the car and played around with it but haven't really banged gears and ran it all out until tonight. leaving the track a loud black 5.0 found itself next to my car 3 times and kept Wolfin at my car. We found ourselves duking it out on a long 10 mile road back to town. We both geared down 3 times. All 3 times I passed him and gapped him. The last time I was pegged out and still pulling. I'm impressed with the Hrt performance build and the Rs tune. But I'm still getting the aem v2 put in and tuned. I can't wait. Probably gonna need a z32 trans in the near future or it might be my rear end. 1 time in 4th gear I felt a pause in my rear and then the car accelerated fast. I felt a delay in my rear.

So jelly. You plan to hit the track with this thing?

I'll hit the track with the aem and boost solenoid. Right now when I tack out in 1st, soon as I drop the clutch and pop second...Boom...a load dumps on second gear and I spin instantly with 265 tires. So I shift into 3rd and same thing. I think the track wasn't prepped that day or maybe I should've done a small burn out. It was one of our 1/8 mile tracks. I spun and redline in every gear I tried plus this was b4 the poly engine mounts so the motor moved enough to pull the heater coil hose from the fire wall and broke the plastic hard pipe part of it. I'm gonna need a better set of 275 wide or a MT street tire. I hate to see the thing tune with a 5858 on e85. I'm on the corn but still on the old turbonetics t3t4 with the 5 bolt down pipe flange..lol...home made muffler shop so the bend collapse, witch I know is a restriction. So I know it's gonna be fun with good 3.5 down pipe and 5858. I also got in front of the tanga Lang everytime. We got to town and his girl was laughing. He said I can't mess with you on the big end. I said man this is only a 4 cylinder. He said yeah but it's turbo'd. I had no idea the car would peg the dash and still pull. I have plenty of power left I feel. I cleaned my system out buy running a tank of 93 so when I went back on e85 my afr hit 10.9 but that's cool. I usually play around with my fpr but I said Id rather be rich then lean. Some ass whippings are coming. Aem, new precision plus 275 tires and maybe a trans swap..that's a parts list I need to work on and. Another easy $2,000+ I need to spend.
