It seems like kind of a pain deciding how exactly to piece everything together. Welds are hard to undo, so you have to put it together in the right order or there may be a place that you can't get to to weld up.
That is a great looking collector! Is that a T3 flange..?? I would have thought he would go at least for a T4 footprint..??

i think alot of people that make these similar ram-horn style manifolds tack the whole manifold into place, then remove each runner and finish weld them....then put each runner into place and finish weld where it meets the collector and the head flange...
so that way you dont have to deal with hard to reach places.
something like that
Brad...whats your process?

Yep. I weld up the collector 1st, tack it all up then pull off a few runners, weld then up then weld them back on.
This one is for a T3 flange but its for a RB20DET so a big T3/T4 would be a good size turbo for it.

Yea that is pretty much what I figured you would do to put it together. On a BS manifold I was messing aroudn with, thats what I did.
Ahh, RB20... I was gonna say.. a T3 seems rather small for a RB25 or 26.lol

You make it look easy! I started making a collector in my Welding class for my own custom manifold...It's been a pain in the a$$ so far.But I'm trying!
Mine's not SS though
Awesome job on that Brad!I wanna see more progress pics
