nothing against you, but maybe your not the best person to comment on this

Id be interested in the measurements of the solid mounts for the subrame if possible as well
just the OD of whetre they go into the subframe, and the length of each half

What are you connecting to? As far as I have ever seen there is only one car that ever could have used a sub frame connector. That was the early VW rabbits. The rest are just shiny parts that someone wanted to sell you. If you want a stiffer chassis then put in a cage or weld the doors shut.

Believe it or not, the subframe does flex. A cage won't stop it either.

Subframe connectors are for real. To do it right on a 240 is alot of work. Worth it though.

I can take most of these sub frame connectors and bend them over my knee. I cannot do this with the subframe. Im not buying it.

Yea.. This is why you have such trouble getting the subframe in after you install solid bushings. I don't think it would flex as much if it were mounted to the frame with solid bushings to begin with. Though there is much room for improvement in stiffness. If I were going to go through the trouble of re-enforcing an S chassis subframe, I would probably do an S15 subframe though for more desirable bumpsteer and camber curves.

Subframe connectors have nothing to do with the rear subframe. It is tubing that reinforces the floor pan which is very weak. The s chassis uses the rockers as the main suport for the center of the car. The subrame connectors run from the front frame rails to the rear rails near the rear subframe connection. My car has 2 x3 square tubing. Bend that over your knee.

Have you posted any pics of said setup? If so, would you mind supplying a link? If not, would you mind starting a thread with some pics? I'd love to see your setup. Thanks in advance.

Ooh. My apologies for my ignorance. I would definitely be interested in some pictures.
