trubo trucks and 1/4 mile times

What kind of times are yall getting out of a truck with 5to6 psi boost. working on turboing my frontier trying to get a idea what to expect

i had a single ka completley stock and ran the cx racing turbo kit on my 95 hardbody and did a 13.7 at 98 mph with a 2something 60foot on dragradials was pretty fun would be better with a tune and bigger injectors :x

How much boost were u running and what did you do about fuel increase?

i was at 7lbs and a walbro 255 pump thats about it cx kit said it'll do 230 something at the wheels with their kit with stock ecu injectors and maf i do not know about the horsepower on my truck cause i had about 150,xxx some miles on my motor but it pulled pretty hard i pull on my buddys stock sr20det on the freeway though going 60mph on 4th gear it was a hardbody too :!:

Hmm is that obd1 or 2? And did you run a intercooler? Thats plenty fast! For myself im hesitant to do it cause im obd2 and dont know tuning options...

yeah i had a intercooler27x7x2.5 and it was obd 1

tropicilluzion, can you give me some more info on your setup? what parts did you use, what kind of problems, if any, did you run into during your build, any body mods you had to make, basically any info/advice you can give to somebody who's going to start a harbody turbo build.

sorry for late response but it was a single k and a cx racing turbo kit 240 intake intake manifold and maf didnt have any issues with insatall just patince and time no body mods jus the front core support chopping it up a little for fmic i guess preference works here cause diffrent strokes for diffrent folks on the way to mount ur fmic :D

Sorry to chime in late

This was at qualcom in San Diego about a year ago.. I know its not 1/4 mile but you get the idea. First time at the track or they would likely be more consistent

1/8th mile with 4psi and no IC... NO traction in first, barely any in 2nd.. didnt warm up the street tires :lol:
