D22 Frontier OBDII ECU tuning options?

Post by Tainted »

What options are available for ecu tuning a ka24de Frontier for a turbo build?
All my research says standalone or piggyback but i was more hoping for something like nistune/enthalpy if possible but can't find any information on it.
I am not really against a piggyback or even a standalone but I want to keep that part of the build around or under $600 and also would prefer to start with a slightly rich tune to play it safe.

For my build, I am only looking to push about 8-10psi on my stock block, a walbro 255, z32 MAF, and upgraded injectors (probably SR ones).

The last option I have considered would be to run a RRFPR (8:1?) and an APEXI SAFC II for tuning.
I'm new to all this but have been doing and still am doing all of my homework, just kind of stuck here.

Check out how the S14 swap to a S13 ECU and jumper harness.

Alright, looked into that and did a little more research and it seems I am going to be adding a NismotronicSA + ECU into my build budget and sourcing/making a conversion harness as I don't see the sanity in paying so much for two plugs and some wires between them.
