I'm afraid we aren't able to take customer assembled units as a trade in, but you could put yours up for sale on eBay or something and use that money towards an MSPNP.

The circuit boards are on order for the MSPNPs now.

Not quite, but it won't be long now. We're waiting on the boards to get in, then we have to finish the base tune and documentation.

I need one stat! I want to get my driveability down while the car is still NA. But, I am slowly losing the battle to not touch the car.

Ran into a few setbacks, but it's back on track. We hope to have the S14 MSPNP on sale before the PRI trade show at the end of the month.

Will this ECU work with the consult port and all of the OBD2 monitors?

Basically, will it still be able to be emission tested via the consult port when they check if all the monitors are running?

It is a racing ECU and as such does not support Consult (it has its own tuning application) or OBD2 (the Feds take a dim view of items intended to fake passing an emissions check).

We'll be tuning this car either today or tomorrow and hope to have the ECU on the shelves in a week or less.

And Russ (our tuner) caught a stomach bug.

The curse of mentioning release dates still stands, it appears...

They're not delaying it - we've finished up all the testing on the S14, and the car is back to its owner. We are now waiting for the MSPNP main boards to get back from the contract manufacturer - had a huge sales spike in November, and we're a bit short on boards. They're due in pretty soon.

We should have them on the site by the end of the week unless something unexpected and bad happens.

Is there a difference between the j88 diypnp and the s14 pnp? Besides the diy not being put together.

Assembly is a big difference; the MSPNPs also have a better knock circuit, peak and hold injector drivers, and a couple other extras not in the DIYPNP feature set.
