I know, I know. No reason do be dissapointed though. Ive done a lot to the car just dont have a good camera to take pics. I'll post some stuff soon even if its using my phone. I have finished the wiring and Im finishing up a heat shield for the spark plug wires. I have to install the an lines to the catch can, figure out how to install the throttle cable on the mustang throttle body and get the downpipe made and I have nothing left so I can finally crank this thing. Update with pics very soon.

Wow i spent an hour reading this whole thread, you have an amazing project. Your project is so crazy you even picked up a couple of haters with it. Your doing what everyone else wishes they could do, good for you man, do your thing and F**k all those haters. I can't wait to see a finished product someday.Oh and those rims you picked up are PIMP i like the red line, a lot of people have bad taste in wheels but you picked some goodies. I'm rooting for you.

I went to a local speed shop and ordered the amount of line I needed and fittings and cut to length and installed the fittings. Theres no place to buy application specific line because every setup is different. Most everything Ive done has been custom to an extent.

So here are a few pics of some new parts and some updates. Finished up the wiring harness finally except for the boost control solenoid, MAP sensor, and IAT sensor...all of which the wires are run for and will take just minutes to finish. I also took the glove box out and made a mounting plate for the ECU. I had a bung welded for the IAT on the intercooler piping and cleaned and painted the alternator. I also made a heat shield for the spark plug wires which I have to buy L brackets for to mount the shield. I'll post pics when its finished. The dual fuel pumps and 2-step switch are also finished.
I ordered some new couplers in black. I also got a small braille battery so I wouldnt have to relocate anything. The radiator is in and the fans are wired and ready. I do have to find some custom bent hose for the top radiator hose since my GATO manifold doesnt allow for the upper stock hose. I also have a set of MAGNACORE 8.5mm wires installed.
Alright so Im sure ur wondering when its going to fire. Well get exited cause here is the list. I have to get a down pipe made. Install the intercooler piping, Fill powertrain with fluids. Get a set of spark plugs. Get turbo hardware. Lastely buy some 1200cc injectors. This includes the last bit of wiring and radiator hose. Those are the last pieces of the puzzle and she will fire.
I have a battery tender hooked up to keep her charged before start up

Yeah I started this project right out of high school. Payed my way through college working part time to pay for this car. Its been a long time coming now. I was looking the other day in some of the import magazines and most peoples projects take 3 to 5 years. Those who stick with it reap the bennifits. ......and get to drive a sick ass car when its done. I figured if I was gonna do it then I wasnt going to take any short cuts. The end result will speak for its self. Thanks to all those who follow. Im glad u guys enjoy my thread. More to come.....just got my intercooler pipe back with a fresh IAT sensor installed. I will have some new pics up very soon.

So a few updates....Ive plumbed the boost control solenoid. Finally found a hose adapter and the right hose to fit the Gato Manifold. I have the hardware for the turbo. Injectors are on order. Next plan is to get the down pipe made. Once thats installed I'll be filling her up with oil, new spark plugs and starting it up. Im also in the process of welding the throttle cable bracket. Saturday I'll be hard at work on the car. More pics soon.
Heres the sleeve for the Rad hose. The radiator outlet is smaller than the Gato Outlet.

So I finished fabing up the throttle cable bracket today. Also added a new throttle return spring from a GM carb because stock 5.0 throttle bodies leave you with no pedal feel. Waiting for the injectors to come in and also have to wire up the Ford TPS to my harness. Then its time to get the downpipe finished. I am so glad to finally have the throttle cable headache resolved. Seriously the biggest headache of this whole build. Pics up very soon.

So here are some pics of the throttle body bracket. Throwing some fresh paint on the TB and bracket tomorrow at work since our shop is heated. So damn cold I cant get anything done. Also got some MOROSO wire loom. Looks good I think. Finished the crank case ventalation hose and valve cover breather hose. I actually used the factory fitting on the valve cover and jb welded the an fitting inside. Worked good. Anyways I have some money saved up to get the downpipe made. Hopefully I'll start on it after the holidays. Let me know what u guys think

that TB look small on the manifold but, shouldn't hold u back from the 500hp club. The q45 just looks so BA because of how big it is. Can't wait to hear her come to life.

Yeah the TB is bigger than it looks. Thats the bolt patern I went with though so im stuck with it. I wish I would have went with the Q45. It would have saved me from the TB cable nightmare, and Omar I will be driving it this summer....its DO or DIE!!!!!!!!

So....update. Its been cold here in NC so I have been trying take part of my project to work since we have a heated shop. Working on the suspension seemed like the most feasable thing to do.
I started by removing all the suspension components and adding energy suspension bushings to all the control arms and rear spindles. Also strut rods, sway bar etc. I also purchased some ISIS solid subframe bushings from Enjuku Racing. With the coilovers and other suspension upgrades I should be in good shape.
I also decided to show u guys the best way to remove control arm and spindle bushings and install the new polyurethane ones.
Check it out
