good to see a serious build. where did u get the rockers from? and what cam will you be running?

for such a high HP engine, do u still use stock timing components or do u need something beefier?

My rocker arms and cam came from OandJ Performance. Depending on the power range you are looking for he can help you. He has different stages based on if you have the rocker arm conversion or stock hydraulic lifters. Give him a call and he should be able to help.

oh and if ur looking for factory fitting over pressure valve springs to match those beautiful valves that i also have. i used over pressures to reduce vlave float and throttle response and my god what a difference.

the company is SBI

SBI p# 160-1008 (intake outer spring)
SBI p# 160-1120 (exhaust outter)

im stilling looking for over pressure inners. those springs i listed are 20psi over nissans requirment for loaded hieght and i belive 40psi over at free stand. something to that degree anyway.

By the way your so called crack is prussion blue left over from checking the vavles, I would much rather use that than a sharpie marker. Thats just me.

oh and if your so called "trained" at honda "dealership" then when u where at school when u put a motor together for exams. you should have been taught properly.... meaning words lapping should get you a smack on the head. ive been taugh by many a people lapping is last resort. ive used it once... i hate myself for it. but guy was on a budget and couldnt afford have seats replaced. i almost wouldnt let him but i let him go and voided my personal warranty. he was fine with that. yes i warranty my race engines.

and there are many ways to check your valve margin. protusion, and seat width. u need 3 tools micrometer, expanding guide dowl, and a sharpy.

use sharpy colour seat with sharpy smack the valve in and twist it about .5 cm side to side and pulll it out. if its rubbed off its contacting.... and it leaves no residue and doesnt damage seat surface. if its all touching use vaccum gauge and test it. should hold 18+ psi vaccum if not one of the 2 pieces in offcenter or not circular

and if you leave lapping material on when u put it together... ur lucky i dont know u if you do cuzs id kick u in the junk.

then when ur motor and valves ***** off because they no longer rotat properly u pay for it again.
