11mm vs 14mm Differences

Post by dzaster »

Besides the obvious top diameter differences, are there any other dIimensional differences like total height?

I ask because with my SOHC build I just got to installing the JGY fuel rail with my RC Engineering top feed injectors and noticed the fuel rail was bored for 14mm injectors and my RC's are 11mm.

I found this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320802194289?it ... m=&vxp=mtr

Just not sure if these insert/adapters alone will solve my problem. It seems the top rubber grommet of the injectors wants to sink into the fuel rail so I'm pretty sure something will have to change there as well--perhaps a larger top grommet.

Help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Don

Well I had an interesting morning being yelled at, demeaned, and hung up on TWICE by JGY Customs.

Hadn't realized they had such poor feedback until I started to research the fuel rail I bought from them. What a shame.

I've since gone with a recommended Fuel Injector supplier FiveoMotorsports.

They helped me put together a plug and play install of their EV14 injectors. Bruce and Kirk there have been very helpful putting together what I need.
