Ok so I needed a BOV and decided to go with the godspeed Type RS.
-
I opened it up and took out all the contents, and this is what was included:
BOV
2 recirculation fittings
Aluminum bung
Gaskets
2 T fittings
Vac hose
Hardware

-
Everything looked nice until I found that one of the hex screws holding the blow off valve closed was not fully tightened, no big deal, just be careful:

-
The blow off valve outlet come with an o-ring attached to it, and it screws off so that you may be able to attach a recirc fitting:

Here is the BOV taken apart, you can kind of see the casting in the outlet is rough,. Expected from a replica, but I don't see how that will have any negative outcome:

-
It came with two springs, one stronger than the other. A spring holder was included and the diaphragm looked very good:

The diaphragm looks nice and it feels very tough:

You can see the casting of the outlet is a bit rough:

Overall, I think its a good piece and Ill post my experiences of how well it works once I get it on.

i'd take a file and clean the casting up on the outlet, it can only help flow

Boost leak should be a good test too, see how the valve seals

I wouldnt mind an upgrade from my dsm bov, this looks good so far, i would just have to tap my flange and it would bolt up too

no problems at all.
I am venting to atmosphere due to running blow through, and sounds really cool. So far everything is holding up fine, but I don't even have 20 miles on it, so I cant really say much. Once I get my ECU back from enthalpy tomorrow, I will be driving the car as my DD, and can update this thread a little better.

ill take most any excuse to do an upgrade, but what dont you like about the DSM to consider something else an upgrade?

Okay update.
The hose they give you is complete garbajio. You need to get higher quality hose, the one provided brakes and tears easily.
