Na ka drift promo vid
Kinda a dick around practice day. We just threw cones out there really. No tandem but still a good vid. Only like my 2nd time drifting na. It kinda sucks but you dont go through tires.

VERY nice! Drifting a low HP car that well is a reflection on your driving skills, too! Great job!
My favorite part of the video was where your passenger was filming you in-car shifting and e-braking. I would like to see more.

Im glad because like everyone else, i was scared into going turbo because i thought drifting n/a couldnt happen. I searched everywhere for help or vids just to see it could be done and could never really find anything legit. So when i began to request advice and proof it could be done, those hopes got shot down followed by "just go sr."StevieB wrote:you give me hope haha
Dont get me wrong, its more fun turbo but a lot less hassle n/a; tires, engine life, money.
And i like the fact that not really anyone drifts against or on the same level of high hp cars with a stock ka. Turbo cars will always win in a competition but thats b/c of tire smoke, and ability to keep a greater angle. If you can deal with that . STAY NA haha

hells yeah
Nice drivin man, you should get into some autocross! i just recently started gettin into it and i love it lol ive been running my 91 s13 coupe and cleaning house, open diff yet i drifted the entire G' circle somehow with 223,000 miles LOL bone stock KA all the way. i recently just invested in a small t25 set up so that should be fun to see how much more the engine can take =)
Also... do any of you know ab the SE cars coming with VLSD? i heard rumors but im not sure because my car is an SE and acts like a confused LSD? JW if theres a way to tell without pulling the inspection plate...
Thanks,
OneCleans13

I rock a welded diff too... it works perfect and there's no way I'm dumping money into an LSD either.
Anyway... one thing I wanted to make sure and comment on was the suspension! I am suprised no one mentioned how little chassis flex you had! Amazing.
Looks like a very tight suspension. I still haven't gotten mine fully done, so when I 'drift' I get a ton of squat but you're looks solid.
What's underneath?

That's pretty good.
So i see you did the same thing i did, got a S13 radiator?
I broke my shroud trying to get it to fit, so i think i might go without and just see how it works. It appears to work for you.
I think that i might actually make some mounts for mine though. Not too big on zip-ties.

I'm not big on drifting at all, and I enjoyed this. It may be because its a champagne zenki.sdaigle240 wrote:^haha same here i just drilled some new holes and used the 14 mounts. i do love this video.
I was going to do the same, drill holes and use the S14 mounts. Are you using the shroud, sdaigle?

for me it was not only good drifting n/a or not, but it was the biggest peice of freakin pavement ive ever seen!
i trimmed and trimmed the stock shroud, and finally got pissed, and $40 later i had altima fans. one peg fits the rad, the whole thing fits in there so tight, its not going anywhere. i plugged one fan into the stock a/c plug (still have to do a relay for 2nd fan) and with the help of a forum member got my calum ecu to regulate to the desired temperature, works great. lmk if youd like any pics, i could pm them to you.
