So I flew off a 70ft cliff in my S14

Post by nosajton »

Happend last thursday night on the way to my buddies house.. wasnt going that fast only about 55 but the drag radials got a little water on them and i lost total control and went off a cliff. while in the air we hit a tree then free fell 60ft sideways.. its still a blur but i remember at the bottom of the cliff the airbags did deploy which probably saved us... i am glad i didnt die or even worse paralized... me and my friend walked away, my back has been killing me for a week but no broken bones or ***** up spine. just to show how sturdy our cars are.

anyhow i am going to have a partout soon on any salvagable parts

p.s. sorry about the sizes of the pix, i cannot resize on this computer..

You guys are a bunch of d*mn scavengers. This man could have died, and lost his prized possesion. Atleast give him a week before you try and take what is left of his car.

He, probably does need some money though. You had full coverage?

Lucky, lucky man. Drag radials on the street is a terrible idea..

That tree probably saved your lives, without it that accident could have been much worse.

Actually, i had to go back to the hospital last night because during a routine checkup they noticed a little blood sitting under my skin and doctor said one of my internal organs is more than likely bleeding.. so they rushed me to the er last night... AGAIN...

after a butt load of tests and 16 hours, they found i had 2 fractured ribs in 4 diff locations, i have a hemotopia (which is a sack of blood) on my lung but they say it should go away on its own.. and i have some damage to my spleen but not too bad.. i gotta go back in 10 days to see if it got any better, if not they gotta operate

i was wondering becuase most of the bruises have healed but my left back hurts still like a mofo! and icy hot aint helpin.. thats cuz the ribs are cracked.. heh

as for the car, you SCAVANGERS, the drivetrain is going into my 98 kouki i bought today.

everything else, is fair game but i dont know what is still good.. i wont be able to part it out until i heal up a little bit, or if you are in san diego, you can pull your own part :)

i just feel much more confident about geting in a crash in a nissan, they make a damn good car. cuz the rescuers told me i was lucky cuz most people who go off that cliff die..

Make sure you dont have a herniated disk in your spine as well.
Good to know your not totally fu**ed up like i would be

Lesson to all though drag radials are exactly that DRAG tires not street tires
