Import DPS KA24 SLEEVED Blocks Now Available!!
Hey Everyone,
Our first batch of Sleeved KA24 Blocks have just arrived. We just got in about 8 of them, 4 of which well you already know were keeping for ourselves. Blocks will be sold as full builds only. Engine Assemblies and Pricing please pm until we get setup as a vendor later on this week.
Here are some pictures.
Please do not call for info as of yet. We are working on package deals for all the sleeved block builds. As I get more info from Oso, Junior and we sit down for our team meeting I will bring you more information. I do know they are ready to go and we will be putting some serious boost on these sleeves to test them out.

holy jesus i cant imaging 75psi 40psi blows my socks offO&Jperformance wrote:I talked to Junior and he was telling me about the sleeves on the KA block. Now is ready for 75 psi.
I got a question about the 1/2" studs, did you have to machine the head at all to accept them? i got the 11mm head studs right now and they barely fit just curious

Were going to push it over 65psi thats for sure. The stock sleeve wasn't strong enough for the boost we were trying to run.
1/2" Head Studs are L19. They are custom made for us from ARP. We will be selling them as part of our packages in both 3/8" and 1/2" for the heavier boost setups. As far as the machining, yes, the block has to be machined. There are some small modifications needed to the head as well, but other than that it is pretty straight forward.

We run a custom Copper head gasket. For the street applications I'd recommend a cometic standard compression gasket. Standard ARP head studs will work up to about 20psi. If your doing more than that, send me a pm with the setup and I will have junior look over it and give his recommendation.

The coolant jackets are entirely filled but that is only for race car vehicles only. We just dont use them.nismo_dreaming wrote:X2, The pictures definitely look like it. I’m sure it’s possible to order without filling correct? Great job on all this Research and Development. Hope you guys sell a grip of these bad boys.efeezi wrote:Are the coolant jackets completely filled?
We know its a rarity to see such a hard ass KA-T go down the track. So whatever we can do to help the community and make them run as hard as us so be it!!

on this new motor ive ran over 700whp for around 3 months now. my problem before was head lift which is now solved with a cometic 2mm head gasket and evo l19 head studs my motor will handle 40psi pulls easily with now coolant getting shot back into reservoir which makes me happy!boker240 wrote:just wondering if ivan or any of these other high hp ka's had a machinist sleeve the block for 700+whp???
