s14 vs 600cc bike

Post by turbo2nr »

alright car is finally back and finally tuned with aem !!

only on 10psi still my fuel pump is acting up above 10psi time for a bosch 044..

anyway first night with the car back from gf house cruising around 70 3 bikes pass me.. i speed up to see how i do and if the tuned helped..

pass them doing 80, the 600cc ducitti takes the bait. i open up wastegate next to him and let off.. so he speeds up as well, we both hit it..

4th gear 80mph to around 110 i was 1/2 car ahead surprisingly, then i went to 5th he closed the gap and was about 1/2 car ahead i stopped way over 120, he had me by a noise..

10min later i get a call from my boy asking if that was me picking on those bikes on the highway lol he told me that was his friend i raced and it was a stock 600cc ducitti..

not bad for 10psi tuned, can wait to change that pump and boost 15psi.

yea car runs super on the aem

turbo spools up so much faster and drive ability is alot better. its only on 10psi but its alot quicker then before,

i just need to balance my self back up and then do my fuel pump and re-do my fmic pipes and im off to the dyno.

well see what happens

Did you race a Ducati Monster 600?

Or was it a sportbike Ducati?

Sounds like a good run for only 10 psi. Glad to see the car is back in action after all that trouble you had.
