So I decided to take my 240 to QT and air up the tires and fill up some gas. As I was heading home, I saw a cop driving the opposite direction of me in the opposite lane. He quickly pulled a U turn and started going after me. I say I had about 200 feet on him. I quickly juked into a neighborhood and gassed it. I then see him turn into the same street in my rear view mirror, so I punched it and took another turn. I kept taking the back roads until I got back on the street and made it to my house a couple blocks further down.
Scary stuff man, scary stuff.
The only reason I ran is because my tag is 5 months out of date and I am so broke.
Still feeling the epinephrine flowing through my veins.

Paul Walker- 1973-2013 Race In Paradise. you will be forever missed
I had to do this about 3 months ago. I was coming onto the turnpike and a 370z was behind me. Needless to say, I was doing about 100mph as I came onto the pike. There was a trooper on the other side. He immediately put on his lights and drove down to their turn around point. I was gonna go to the plaza to get corn but pulled out of the lane and gunned it. I was doing at least 120mph. The needle was buried. I got off at the next exit and took a back road. I saw the trooper from the side road of the pike. Man, I was shtiting bricks when this happened. I hate tickets!

Haha oh man. I know, I hate tickets too. I have a warrant out because I still didn't pay my 450$ speeding ticket. I can't afford to get pulled over.

My roommate and I were with a couple buddies who had an SRT4 in a car show, and when it ended we found out the guys with the SRT4 had never been properly hooning in rwd car, so why not go tear up a parking lot? We head to a [usually] abandoned parking lot, some garden supply store. It has two large parking lots separated by a 1 lane passage with trees on either side. As my buddy enters the first parking lot (sideways of course) a spotlight immediately hits us. I just say get the hell out of there, and he asks if it's a cop or motion detector light. I told him it was the latter but we needed to get the hell out of there. Meanwhile I'm staring at the flashing lights of a cop that my buddy is too scared to notice. By some stroke of luck, the cop was sitting in that section between the two parking lots, but the garden supply store happened to have a couple pallets of concrete benches and materials sitting in the way, blocking off the two lots, which meant the cop had to go around before he could actually catch up to us.
We took every single side road home after that, the cops around here are notorious for profiling import drivers and hitting them with every ticket in the book.

Can we officially title this thread "The time I got away?"
When I was younger (and hopefully dumber) I was driving my '72 GMC PU truck with the needle burried (110 i bet) on a Saturday night. Cop was in the center divider section on the highway. At first I let off then said f-it and re-floored it. Passed a VW on an off-ramp then took the next right (almost went into the ditch)/left into an apartment complex right into a parking spot. My buddy convinces me to duck down. About 2 minutes later a cop rolls past us. I'm like "dude should we go?" he said "chill out" (the voice of reason) the same cop comes back past us another few minutes later. Got out and saw that I was parked all lopsided in the spot and waited in this overlook position where we can watch. 1-2-3-4 cop cars flying around with their lights on like I rammed right into their favorite donut shop. We waited for like 45 minutes and then took the back road home. Fweew.
Come to find out this apartment complex is literally about a quarter mile from their station and my buddy and I retell this story nearly every time we hang out.
All things being said, I do not recommend running. Running=felony evade. My other two stories... My buddy ran (in my car with me as a passenger) and another where I could of ran but I stopped. I'll save those for later.

My wife "haven't you spent enough time and money on that car yet?" my answer "no"
