I like the manifold. No issues except for the radiator hose inlet but nothing a little JB weld didn't fix. Also, you need to port match the primaries which I have not done yet. But performance wise, I don't mind the loss of tq down low. This lets me get traction. When I was running the stock manifold @ 10psi, I could not get traction in 1st after 3500 and 2nd would spin as well. With this mani, I sometimes lose traction around 6k but no issues in 2nd. It cleans up the bay as well and removes a lot of coolant lines that are likely to bust and ruin your motor.

Your ears are good. That was my 3 year old daughter in the back. She always wants to ride in the 40. That is what she calls it. My son is 6.

This car is fun especially with 65* weather. I was pushing her hard yesterday and no issues. Not one spark blowout, not one boost spike, not one hesitation/misfire. Run from 1st to 4th and come back down to a 900rpm idle like butter. I did do a donut and brake stand while leaving a shop. Also, a Mazda 3 wanted to play but quickly sat back down. My open dump scares people I guess. This car is fun.

Update as well. I ordered Cooper 275/40 tires. Should be here Tuesday. I want to these bad boys on so bad. Hopefully, I can sell my Spec V's and buy 1600cc injectors. Then sell my 1000cc injectors and buy my DIY Boost Control. Then tune her for 25psi.

That's what she said. I am diggin' the bulkiness. I just need to order some altima rotors and I will be all set. I may just put on the fronts this weekend and wait for money to do the rears.

Results are in but need a photo shoot. I like how they set but I need to get coil overs for the front and zg flares. When all said and done, it will be nice.

I want to get flares because the tires sit outside of the body about an inch. I don't mind it at all though. I also need to get center caps for the wheels as well.

Rear brake setup.
z31 brackets
stock calipers
2003 Nissan Altima rear discs

I noticed with these brakes that the car does not nose dive and does not lock up the front brakes. I am happy for that.

Cool man. Unfortunately, SFL does not have much to offer for seasons. It is either wet or dry. Where did you buy your zg flares from? Are they glass, abs, or urethane?

http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/7BSA02

mine are fiberglass (the 200$ ones), they have them in cf as well.

guess the biggest gripe on them is they are not symmetrical, they are made to fit the z fenders. ours are shaped a little different. was able to make them work with tnuts and hex bolts, weather stripping behind them.

the flares are nice quality fiberglass pieces. have a link to what all needed to be done to install them somewhere.

i cut the fenders underneath the flares to gain extra clearance for the tires since the stock heignt rubs on the fender when you extend past it.
the rear you have to weld the unibody back together, the fronts just a single sheet of metal.

looks like they have a pretty sweet hoodscoop for the 370z as well that may fit our cars

oh the ideas, looks like the flares are on sale right now too

I keep on forgetting to comment on the handling of the car. With the extra meat and wider stance, the car is stable. It actually feels like a go kart. I am quite amazed in the characteristics of the car now.

Secondly, the braking is so much better. The pedal got a bit softer but the car is easier to handle in oh sh!t situations. Before with the J30's up front and stock rear brakes, it would lock up easily and slide. With the bigger rotor in the rear, it is able to hold the car back from nose diving. The brakes can lock up but at the very end of the pedal travel which is ideal. Also, to help assist in braking are the tires. I was running 235/45 on the spec v's but they were nankang's. I have now pirelli's in the same size.

With this new setup, the car is fun to drive and I feel 10x's safer with it. Before, I was scared to slam on brakes which would require me to downshift to second and pull up the e-brake while braking so I would not slide. It sounds crazy but I had to do this 2 times. One for a red light that I did not see and the other a dummy jumped out in front of me.

I am good for a little bit but starting next year, hopefully I can upgrade my manifold and get 1600cc injectors.

Beautiful car man. +1 on rolling/slightly pulled qtr panels. A little pull goes a long way.
How's the light output on your headlights? I've tried like 3 different headlight setups and they all were not so great lol.

Thank you sir. I won't roll. I am thinking about zg flares. Another member did a roll on his rear and went to far. I would have done the same thing so no to roll. I may try a pull though.

As for slips, that is going to have wait. I am selling my spec v rims and those were suppose to be for the injectors but I need to pay some bills. I want to get 1600cc injectors and then upgrade my manifold and downpipe. Once complete, I will either break my rear end or run a low 12 high 11.

Thanks m's. The output is good. If you look at some of my vids at night, you can see a little bit of it but it is different in person. I have projector housing with 5K bulbs.

Well today was something else. I decided to take of my intake manifold to do some clean up on the port and change out my oil feed line.

First, there was gunk in cylinder 1 and 2. 3 was clean but 4 had a little bit. I do not know where this came from but I am thinking a downside to corn possibly. Anyhow, I cleaned that up, put the oil line and decided to do a mini tuck. Since my pig tails are long when I installed them. I just had to move one ground to the back of the head. It test fitted good. I just need to get some copper spray to install the manifold and be good to go.

Gunk
Image

Some bad news. I was trying to get a tool that fell by the ic. When looking around, I noticed my radiator is swelled. I know what is happening now. I changed out the rad cap from the CX Racing to a stock one. After 20psi pulls, I would see some leakage with from the cap. I then put back on the CX Racing cap and all was well. But it is not, I am suspecting of the cometic letting pressure out. Oh well, if I get pissed, I will throw on a Fel-pro and be happy.

Bummer! I have that same radiator/cometic HG. Did you notice any coolant temp fluctuations or excessive white smoke?
My wife "haven't you spent enough time and money on that car yet?" my answer "no"

No white smoke but after 20psi runs, I would have to top off the coolant the next day. I thought it was leaking from the top radiator neck on the manifold cause I do get a little water there. I would only loose like half a cup or so. I also took of the manifold to JB Weld the neck to stop the leak. I have RTV there but it lost its sealing power.

Since I have been driving on 10psi, my fluids are good.
