Only thing I know of is to not over tighten cause then you can tear the cork gasket, I did about 2-5lbs of torque and also added a lil bit of black rtv silicone to both top and bottom to help seal better. Thanks bro yeah I've got some more stuff to finish I just installed my intercooler I'll post pics tomorrow when its light out. Also need to ceramic coat my exhaust housing and manifold :)

Took the turbo exhaust housing to get powder coated at Ram Pro Line, here are pics of ic installed. Sorry no step by step pics was pretty easy tho. Trimmed the bumper support and the headlight brackets, also used "L" brackets for the top need to see what I will use for the bottom. Pretty sturdy with just the top brackets, let me know if anyone needs more pics.

what kind of paint did you use on the short block?

it's already chipping. I want to paint my block white too, easier to see things.

Did you bake the paint on?

Stock head gasket size plus whatever was removed from head and block, example: .045+.020=.065 just about 1.5mm

Yes, so I just picked up my manifold and turbo housing they look great cant wait to throw it on along with the clutch and did change up my oil feed. Also did some wiring for my e-fans and a couple of broken dried up wires in the engine harness, anyone ever have problems with the solder coming off the wiring with excessive heat in the engine bay?

Isn't the 02 sensor extremely close to the turbo/heat ? I'm just going by what I've read, not flaming or anything ! Sweet build, keep the updates coming please :)
I love that copper/bronze tone on the mani/DP

I'm not too sure that's how it was when I bought it. I could always heat wrap it or move it further down. Thanks the color is called "piston grey" yeah I'm actually going to update again right now lol.

So I'm very excited things keep getting better and better, closer and closer just tying up loose ends and motor is going in soon. On to the pics :)

And finally the clutch is on!!!! :D
I will continue to update thanks for watching everyone and for commenting. All advice is taken into consideration let me know if you guys have any questions and concerns it helps me out a lot.

Progress has been slow, downpipe and cat-back exhaust is all bolted up along with j30 vlsd. Car is on all 4's now and waiting for radiator install, ic piping, turbo timer install, and fluids, then I can start it :)
