Yea, they look good. Better than my bobo ones I made from sheet metal of an old cpu case.

Haha happens. He also has a lot more invested than you or I. I do like the idea of putting the coils like that

Re: Turbo2nr's 600hp build (vmount/wiggins/fuel/custom fab)
they are aeroquip nylon hose. the ignition coils are ls7 and the bracket is from ebay but re drilled to work on the ka motor.mewantkouki wrote:What brand of hose are you using for the catch can setup, and what ignition coils are those? I have a set of late model maxima coils that look just like them.
we cut and raised the vc for better ventilation for valve cover , modified internal baffle to keep i functional.picsbypenny wrote:did yall mod your vc or did you buy it like that from somewhere?

Re: Turbo2nr's 600hp build (vmount/wiggins/fuel/custom fab)
Thanks everyone.. I havent updated this in a long time..
I've been driving it all summer. I also picked up a daily that has been taking up some of my funds..
The s14 clutch is no slipping badly so early next year after i move i will be doing the trans swap finally and completing the driverterrain.
Then finally get the car dynoed tuned.
mean while here are some pics..

Re: Turbo2nr's 600hp build (vmount/wiggins/fuel/custom fab)
Love this car. I'm curious about your catch can set up. I'm used to see 2 or 3 filters on the catch can, but your appears to have some sort of radiused openings on top.
Wiseco/Eagle, JWT S1 cams, BC valve springs, PT5857, ID1700 injectors, SR20DET ECU w/ Nismotronic, COP conversion with LS ignition coils, etc, etc...

Re: Turbo2nr's 600hp build (vmount/wiggins/fuel/custom fab)
The indentations on the catch can is stuffed with round cut out foam for filtration.
as for plans i just want to get the car running solid drive terrain wise. Im probably going to sell the meisters next year and get something less aggressive and raise the car up a little with more meat on the tire. I want to start auto cross next season then eventually do a track day after i up my skill level.

OMG man! This car has come so far! I still remember the old Ford Probe from the AF days.
Congrats man! Looks amazing! Can't wait to see some dyno results!
...
@Rick, I agree... So much nostalgia being back on here looking at KA-T setups...

Re: Turbo2nr's 600hp build (vmount/wiggins/fuel/custom fab)
- I am running dual flex-lites under the v mount for cooling,
- the car is holding up fine, clutch is slipping needs a rebuild but i am also planing to install my z33 trans so im holding off and fixing it all at once and upgrading the transmission.
- as for the wheels, they do make the car but a little to aggressive to fully make use of my setup. Once the car is 100% where it should be i will ditch the s1's and get some te37 with meaty tires and start road racing this thing.
