I personally think that the Nitto NT-01, and the g-Force T/A Drag Radial are some of the best.

Are you guys using these tires on the street? I heard they wear out faster than your average tire, but Id rather hear opinions from the people using them here.

running them on the street does make the life span of them shorter, but you have to pay the cost to be the boss

Thats because that honda didn't have enough torque to break them loose. Even if it did have like 250ft-lbs of torque, it was at 6,500 rpms. Sorry but I like torque.

Efeezi was running the azenis before he switched to Drag radials. And he seemed to like them for a true street tire.

It looks like the MT drag radials seem to last longer than the BFG's on the street. But like someone said before, you gotta pay to play. Very Happy

M/T Et Streets. Had some 26 X 11 1/2's on the back. (rubbed a little)

Damn good bite on the street and a Sh!tload of traction on the track.

Well, I have been looking into some sticky tires for drag racing, these are the 2 options I have been thinking off. First off, I have a stock body s13, I will be lowered but amount is unknown at the moment, putting suspension on this weekend.

Some sort of rim or drag rim with slicks. I have read that the 26x10.5 is a good size for our cars, and the 8 inch rim is a good chouise, but don't know what to look for as far as offset/B.S.

The other is getting some rims and putting some large drag radials on it, then it is at least street legal, LOL. But I am concered on fitment with a 275 or something like that on the rear. Do any of you have pics of them, if so list some info on the rims....(especailly efeezi and people with sizes listed above)

Thank you for any assestance

Yeah I did have azenis's before and they were a pretty decent street tire. Was also able to cut 1.8x 60's with the azenis' with 350whp.

mach5- this the best pic I have at the moment. Car is lowered 2"

ok so now i am thinking i want a set of bfgoodrich g-force t/a drag radial. i just want some freaking traction for the strip haha. i want to just stick them on a set of stock se wheels or some steelies i have. i am not sure the stock width i know that 205's were optional though. so i am thinking of getting the 205/50/15 for $123 from tirerack.com. or do you think i could make the 225/50/15's fit on a set of stock se wheels?

ok only one more question. i know these will not hold tons of traction at the track would they get me some decent 60 ft numbers with around 300whp. i was able to cut 2.2 with stock tires and no lsd. so now i have lsd and soon to be these DR. so i am just wondering what to expect. thanks in advance!

You'll probably do sub 2 seconds if you drive well.. Its not so much the width that will make a difference, it is the tire composition and whether or not you are in its proper operating temperature range..

you can fit 225s on SE wheel, I do it with street tires. And drag radails/slicks are more accepting to being wider then the rim

The tire will be much more sensitive to pressure changes with bulged sidewalls(225s on stock rims).. I definitely would not do 225 on stock tires for any kind of handling setup..

I needed traction, and needed tires. I will have rims and big tires this spring/summer.

Mickey Thompson's ET street radial. I run the 255/50/16 on an 8" rx7 wheel. That's the widest it gets on a stock bodied s13 without any kind of fender pulling/rolling.

I've found that the 255 just barely snugs in on an 8" rim (+50 offset) without any modifications.

I am running the Nitto 555's. On the street I LOVE them but on the track they suck. Could just be the track I race at but we did a run of 11.9 and we were spinning the tires through 3rd. Next tim I go I am going to have a set of Sticky Micky slicks.

Drag radials are for the street. Bias drags are for the track.

The IRS of the car causes large camber changes when the car squats. Radials have stiffer side walls which results in pulling part of the tread off the ground when camber changes. The effect is much less with a bias ply tire.

If you are going to be street racing, I would run MT ET Street Radials.

If you are going to be track racing, I would run the Hoosier QTPs (they blow away the MT ET Street (bias)
