It is rather funny.
But the reply's are typical of the Zilvia forum. I'm glad I don't stoop to the level of loading that into my browser intentionally. lol
At least on here, we would tell him what it was, but kindly steer him towards some source of learning what he's got and dealing with in his car.

LOL im still lauging at the "2jz" swap picture.....i must admit i had a long ass rant the other day on zilvia because i dont even post there i just cruise the for sale sections....but i saw a guy post a question with topic saying " **** my life" where he and a friend were changing oil and the filter wrench hit the alternator and sparked, now his car wont start. and he thinks he killed it.
Instead of the dumb ***** telling him to check his fuses ( main fusible link ) they start telling him to take off the alternator, check the starter etc....and after 5 people posted dumb skunt responses i couldnt help but make a post, firstly telling him that its the fusible link he probably blew....secondly telling them that this is why i dont use zilva the majority of its users are retarded, then i said if someone needs real help and wants advice from people who actually KNOW about cars...come to ka-t......i ended it by saying " nah dont come to KA-t...i dont wanna deal with you dumb *****"
i dont know why i get so worked up when i think of zilvia....but basically to tell a guy to start pulling parts off his car before doing the simpler things like check his fuses esp after you just had a major electrical short is just not sensible to me...even for the most mediocre car enthusiast should know to check fuses first. _________________ 300zx Calipers+EBC pads

And yes i too appreciate this forum greatly but i can actually tell you why this forum contains higher quality members than most.
It has to do with how the majority of us found this forum, dont lie everyone of us started out saying we wanted an sr20 in our car, did the research, ran the numbers and realized **** i cant afford that cause im poor....i wonder what the KA can do. Then we took the time to do our research and found a diamond in the rough. Having less money sometimes is a true blessing cause i know for a fact i would have went sr20 at the time because i would not have even bothered to find out what is the potential of a KA if i had the money....in otherwords having little money breeds ingenuity, and we have alot of members here that clearly have this, i mean just look at the pic threads, tuning section and fabrication section....it never ceases to amaze me and make me feel insignificant at times because i realize my accomplishments with my car are nothing compared to what some of these guys are doing.
Ive seen it time and time again, its always the guys with large bank accounts that do the dumb stuff, even my own family does this....and laugh at my stock KA, but yet im always the one they call for help when **** hits the fan.....and im not saying everyone here is poor, im just saying that a poor man will think HARD how to spend $100 wisely on his car to get the most bang out of it, and he will take his time to make sure he does not make any mistakes that will cost him more......rich guy will spend $100 on that baller catch tank and rush things on his car because he can afford to make mistakes.

Just kidding, but i agree with you 100%. The quality of people and information we have on here is like no other forum or website...... I have only used google twice. Im still learning and reading and i still have alot of unanswered questions, but thats nothing a little searching cant cure..

the only thing i can possibly take issue with is mentioning ka-t in your rant.

man i didnt get to do anything with the car ,time went by so damn fast. Im in the middle of applying for a student loan, confirming my seat at school and im up and down the hospital prepping for a surgery in 2 weeks. Then after all of that i have to hope everything goes well and that i recover in time to go to school in January, car is last of my priority now, i know i said horn and ebrake are things i want functional for school and everyday driving but i think that will have to wait till summer ....hell im considering leaving the car parked there until summer
