Got my turbo from a turbocoupe. In and out and up and down shaft play though, might not be able to use it. I could get a free T-3 without a hotside, just need to find a hotside. Also got a spare TB so I can have a tube extension welded on top. The plan is to test it as a cold air kit first, then use...

Got a manifold coming from a guy over on NICO forums for pretty cheap. But I keep getting outbid on ebay for a bunch of different stuff. So at least I got some parts coming.

SO the only thing your running for tuning is the SAFC2 and 370's? I got an auction bid on a fully adjustable FMU. If that blows through I might try what your suggestion with a Z32 MAF. I'm told the 240SX ECU is a direct swap and you can slap a Z32 MAF on the stock wiring harness with switching aroun...

Well if I had a tuning device that could retune for the injectors I would consider it. But the low boost I'm running I doubt I will need it. I have been doing more reading and am thinking this route. I can get a used vortech or cartech 10:1 FMU for about $60-80. Can get a SAFC for about $100. I know...

Well i want the truck torque and want this to be a pretty simple turbo setup. I know that might be lazy, but I still want it super cheap and that's an expense I do not need. Right now my biggest thing is wrestling with how I'm going to tune it. A wideband is a must and I think I have that lined up. ...

So what do you guys think would be the best way to go about connect piping to the TB?

I really want to use the studs coming out of the TB and clamp something down. Either like a carb hat or a 90* pipe with a hold down.

Nice 720! Looks like you put just a tiny bit of your time into it :D

Looks like the I will be doing the Walboro. I'm gonna hold off on redoing my exhaust until the turbo, so 2.5 inch is whats going on it. There is a manifold for sale on NICO but it's a side mount, not sure if I would have the clearence for it. And for $40 more I can build my own. I just need to find ...

What type of MAF adapter?

Just to clarify, you used the stock hardbody MAF in the throttle body?

Stock MAF blowthru??

Has anybody tried to use the stock configuration of the MAF as a blowthru? I keep seeing people having issues with running rich and bad idle with converted MAFs. I want to see if I can use an SAFC and stock MAF in TB. Only thing I think will be an issue is the turbulance since there will be a TB hat...

Another question. I've been searching online and it looks like a 300ZX TT fuel pump will drop right in? What year/years would I ask for at a parts store?

I've been looking at the JGS DIY log manifold for $191 that comes with all the flanges and piping. I think unless a good used deal comes along I will have to build my own. I just don't want to buy a turbo manifold and have the turbo placement be off and have to hack up the manifold anyways. There wa...

I want to do 2inch because my muffler has clogged on the inside and is rattling. I can get a catback system for cheap and it needs to be replaced now. If I can use that new catback I would prefer to do that. I don't think 2inch is going to be dangerous, will it have back pressure, yes. Lets move on ...

I realize BP is bad. But on 5PSI I doubt it will be an issue being as i won't even push 200hp to the tire. It will have a straight through muffler, 2inch should not be a restriction at 200Flywheel hp Remember these trucks only have 135hp stock and will only rev to 5k. If it does become an issue I wi...

I know my post is lame. But here's the setup I'm going to try. Only going to run 5PSI so I don't have to worry about getting crazy with tuning or fuel management too much. Plus this is my DD and it's god balls slow, almost dangerous. JGS or other turbo manifold Turbocoupe turbo with internal waste g...

These trucks do not warm up in the winter. I've always just used a piece of card board cover half the radiator. That mechanical fan pushes a ton of air all the time. I would imagine an electric one that only kicks on above 200* would be beneficial too.

Turbo KA24E

Tried finding it. But just wondering how much these engines can handle safely.

It's a 93 hardbody with a 2.4 in it. Wanting about 50more hp.
