Would the regular ka driveshaft fit with the collar? If i still need to remove it with the ka driveshaft, i might as well stay with the sr driveshaft. I think that if i remove it and use the sr driveshaft it would fit perfect. Do i remove the collar on the trans or the one around the drive shaft?

I'm not 100% sure what the collar does. I' can tell you personally I have removed one that was damaged and ran it without problems. I can't see how it would create a problem as long as the driveshaft isn't touching or rubbing any piece of the transmission housing. What bothers me about your situati...

I dont understand where the big rubber cuppler with 6 bolts in it suppose to be at.. According to home of the 240 @ clover this is a 5speed non abs driveshaft. This is a complete different driveshaft than my automatic driveshaft, It has to be a 5 speed shaft.

Driveshaft Sparking

Hi guys, I recently converted my car to a 5speed transmission and everything runs great. Truns on perfect, idles perfect, but when i took it for a test drive the driveshaft was sparking where it meats the transmission. The driveshaft was a bit hard to put on, required a little bit of force. I put on...
