12 Psi 30 to 105 pull

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu1oaLHf1Y4 Progressively upping the boost. This was a shakedown on 12 psi trying to work on my afrs. Working on getting them back into the high 11s low 12s. Showing I'm using 61% on my z32 maf if I'm not mistaking thats around 300hp. Let me know what yall think. Advi...

Re: Build it right the first time (Rebuild)

It's been a while since I have updated this thread but the car is doing pretty well. Since the first startup until now I have made a few changes. - Made a custom 3" exhaust with a magnaflow 3" on the back due to my old exhaust hanging extremely low. - Bought a 9psi Tial wastegate spring. P...

4psi Ka24e-t pulls

Hey dudes haven't been on here in forever but I decided I would give some updates on my build. Setup remains the same http://www.ka-t.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=57654 I've got some idle issues that I can't seem to figure out but I am working on it other than that the car drives perfect. I just need...

Holset Feed Line Question

I just purchased a 3an feed line for my holset and can't seem to find the correct fitting to make it work. I am looking for a 3/8x24 Male to a M12x1.5 Female to connect to my existing fitting on my turbo.

Searched summit, jeggs and earls for this certain fitting. Any suggestions?

Haven't posted or updated in quite sometime. Good news is I have been breaking the car in for a few weeks now. Everything is mostly good other than a small oil leak and I have noticed on start up I tend to get a little smoke which I believe is coming from my big turbo feed line caking extra oil in t...

Some long awaited updates. I have the car running and found out it was running on 3 cylinders. After pulling the #1 spark plug, it seems it hasn't gotten any fuel what so ever. The plug looks brand new compared to the other 3. Checked for spark and it is there which leads me to Injector #1. Right on...

Believe I ruled timing out. Checked for codes in the ECU and got code 11 , 12 and 21. I originally got a code 11 with my old distributor, bought a new one and still have the same code but the distributor never changed anything. I have always had code 12 since I had the ECU tuned for a z32 MAF. Code ...

This is how everything was setup with the previous picture of the oil pump spindle I believe. Looks like the crank mark might be slightly off from the timing tab.

Double checked my timing tab mark and I am thinking it was slightly past the 0* mark when I set the oil pump in which might be why it sits slightly slanted. The car would only start when I un plugged my MAF but after it was running I could plug it in and sort of keep it alive. Checked my MAF voltage...

Quick SOHC Timing Question

I recently finished my build and have tried to start the car a few times. It seems like timing is off so I checked everything and just about everything lines up accept for my oil pump spindle. I can't tell if this is enough to make it run like crap or not. I have read that the slight slant in the ha...

So some updates! I started the car up today for the second time. The other night I tried to start it and got nothing out of it. I thought maybe my fuel lines were crossed but traced it to a common cause for me which is my z32 maf for some reason. I unplugged it and the car fired right up. Smoky of c...

Having some electrical issues before I start the car up. I tucked the fuse box and my battery was already relocated, I just can not remember if the positive was run directly to the 2 plugs that plug into 1 connecter that powers the fuse box, or if it was run straight to the starter. My fuel pump, da...

John @ JK Tuning hooked me up with my last rom tune for the same setup. Only difference is that I have a built motor now  On a side note, Jason at EMANCE screwed me and many others over after I paid him about 300$ to tune a stanza ECU for me and it ended up being bad. I think I said it would be...

Not sure if you are running studs or just bolts where they are completely stripped, I am running studs all around the exhaust to prevent this, but I would go ahead and tap it instead of running a coil. If anyone else could chime in on this, that is just my suggestion.

I should have the engine back by Wednesday and in the car Saturday hopefully. The only thing that is going to set me behind is my Tial wastegate. A few updates. My ARP Main studs will be in tomorrow and I will have the bottom end put together. Should have it back by Tuesday with some pics.

Also put in an order for my ARP Head Studs. Part # 165-5401 for the DE. Just going to back them out a bit.

Definitely my humor is what drives me forward to have the patience to finish this. It was a big blow building it, being able to drive it for a total of 20 miles, then blowing it up. It only upset me for about an hour before I had made the decision to rebuild the motor from the ground up. Now that it...

Sorry to hear that, I feel your pain. Did you happen to notice any ticking going on while it was at idle? The KA24E is an interference engine so if you did not align the cam with the crank correctly at TDC that could have caused it. Also might want to check to see if your timing guide has snapped as...
