Re: 10.5:1 CR + E85 w/ stock ECU
Thanks guys for all the input. I'll probably keep the stock injectors and play with the timing like airman said until I come into enough for standalone.

Yes to updated rides page and ride of the month. I think that a separate forum category for FAQ's, stickies and FSM links would be beneficial to keep all the most sought after info in one place. That way noobs could (or at least SHOULD) start there when they have questions. I also think that certain...

IMO I think the idea needs a reboot, there's just so little traffic. Maybe we should go after a turbo 240sx forum that takes advantage of the knowledge of sr's, ka's, rb's, and other turbo motors. Things are too divided here. If someone is troubleshooting they are kinda stuck by motor, even though ...

I say the 5858, .63 A/R T3, ported S cover. Get a port/polish job on the head and some 264 cams and you should make 450whp no problem in the neighborhood of 20psi, and still have a decent spool time. I see the 5858's and 6262's popping up more and more, and the more I want to get one when I finally...

I'm also interested in this. Picked up a pair of 248's on Zilvia and one of them has green and orange paint. I'll have to mic em tomorrow and see what numbers I get, but here's a couple pics. You can see it's definitely an exhaust cam http://i1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh578/ReEducationThruLabor/IM...

Torque wrenches were designed for accuracy. Given the track record of Harbor Freight quality, I'd stay clear of them. I could see myself using one as a paper weight. :werd: Hand tools etc are fine from Harbor Freight but the more important tools I would get from a good company. I go through the loc...

ReEd that's what I'm after. You see all the cheap $130 manifolds on ebay, maybe a $300 cast from a nice brand, and then the $900 + super sexy AMS stuff. Where are the $500 semi-baller manifolds? I'd buy one for sure. What else is easy to upgrade/everyone would want Manifolds (exhaust AND intake)? I...

WTB section
What about easing up on WTB section requirements? I know why FOR SALE needs certain guidelines, but I see the opportunity for spam/scams as being significantly lower in WTB. I feel new ER members would definitely be looking for parts and able to contribute to the classifieds and maybe even establish...

Well since we're on the topic of group buys, what would you guys be willing to throw down cash on? Or if not, what category would you be willing to do a group buy on ie. suspension parts, drivetrain, engine, etc. I know it's something that has been done by a lot of members already but I'd be totall...

Step 1: compression test. Also an ebay mani should hold up at 250whp as long as your downpipe has a flex section. I've read positive things about the Isis T28 that goes for $300 or you could lurk Zilvia's FS section for a used disco potato. A Competition Clutch stage 2 can be had for under $300. STI...

Sprint Lowering Springs Review
Installed some Sprint lowering springs and GR2's on my DD today. Hated not having the sport suspension feel and all 4 of my struts were blown at 70k miles. I noticed Sprint sells lowering springs for s-chassis as well so I figured I'd review them. My car before (ignore that it's a POS lol): http://i...
