A T3 (esp Super 60) should be able to hit 300whp. Edub1 on NICO is finishing a 15psi Super T3 setup and I'm betting he'll hit 300whp on his self-tuned ECU.

That said, a GT32 or T3/T04E should be able to do it at lower boost at prolly greater efficiency, making it more reliable in my eyes.

Not sure how big the Evo 8 turbo is, but injector size is based on both turbo size and boost level. 370's are good for almost 250whp, 480's should get you to 300whp, and 555's can do 350whp.

This is the map Ivan (or CHris?) posted on NICO. Its from turbobygarrett.com . The pic of the turbo on the site looks different from AMS's pic. I guess they use a different comp housing.

I live in Silver Spring MD, but I know NoVA requires emission testing. Since your car isnt OBD2, you have to go on the rollers. As long as its clean, youll be find. I dont think they do any visual inspection (at least not in MD).

^ You missed the point. x8 +35 with 225mm tire often rubs the coilover. Going with a 215/45 allows it to barely clear as he said. How are flush and hitting the same?

Hey Matt, did you paint your car since last summer? I saw a hatch with the MA logo on it several months ago, but I swear it was orange. This was near Powder Mill Rd, the first exit outside the beltway heading 95N. Maybe it was another MA sponsored car.

The newer T04E wheels have a better design than the T04E wheels. As a result, the E wheels seem to have a wider efficiency range. I dont see a 60mm (2.36") B wheel. The stated wheel size is usually the major diameter. http://64.225.76.178/catalog/comp_wheels.html You can calculate the trim if y...

^ right on. I think the 0.48A/R T3/T04E would be the better choice.

The S15 T28 will spool up quicker, but would need over 16psi (just a guess) to hit 300whp. And that is pushing the T28 past its efficieny range.

Are you using the stock MAF? The 370s and stock MAF max out around 240-250whp. So youre right at the edge. But your A/F ratio looks good, so I think youre safe for now.

Whats the big deal about the GT32? I know its wheels are newer designs than the T3 and T04E wheels. Is it that much more efficient in say 12-20psi range?

And everyone raving about the AMS version, do you have any clue how its different from the standard Garrett version?

There are two types of S13 wheels. One type has a single brace behind each spoke and can fit the 26mm calipers without spacers. The other has two symmetrical braces on each spoke and cannot fit the 26mm calipers.

I cant find the site with pics (silbeer.com??), but I think I have it correct.
