electrical engineer. power distribution and building systems design.

most of the car stuff was done while in college, while interning at a couple firms.

i run a custom 3" with a dynomax superturbo muffler and a race bullet for a resonator. its quieter than most, but still drones somewhat. you will have a pretty hard time running 3" and avoiding that, especially with a straight-thru type muffler keep in mind that noise level is very subject...

lots of places recommend the 500*+ couplers instead of the usual 300-350*, so i would assume somewhere in between there..

just went for a cruise to adjust my fan settings and noticed something odd. my autometer temp guage read on average 10-15* hotter than my oem sensor. i have my low fans come on at 185 and shut off at 175, and my highs come on at 190 (based off the oem sensor). i just adjusted this to 180/170 and 185...

my highway temps stay up around 195-205 too

got a 180* thermo and fans set to come on at 195*

i wired my wideband into the ecu harness without a problem.

just print an ecu pinout (found in the fsm) and double check the layout before doing any cutting and splicing. take it slow and youll be fine

took the launch pretty slow (open diff)
spun a little through 1st, all of 2nd, and some of 3rd

track wasnt prepped at all according to some other people, i really have no idea either way

i need a vlsd or the obx helical quick :oops:

You can tune with all of them since it is just a display of how your engine is performing in the fuel/air mixture range. As far as the readings or signals being used to automaticly adjust your timing or fuel output I am not aware of any wideband that has the option for that. But most of the wideban...

kind of sucks because we didnt get slips so i couldnt get much else. trap was ~80 mph, so i need to work on getting out a bit quicker

If for some odd reason you still have your coolant tank, remove it and place it there. At least thats what I would do if I had one, realatively close to your filter. yeah they are pretty damn loud

for what it's worth, i've been running those settings for ~2 years without issue.
