Pulled up to him at a stop light, light goes green he guns it(I wasn't even gonna race). So I oblige and gun it too, had him by a car length up to 70km/h then slowed down(didn't want to get a ticket).

No, you don't want to do this, I tried and it gave the ecu a bad signal, everyone else I know tried this and it did the same thing. KEEP THE STOCK SENSOR AND WELD THE WIDEBAND BUNG ABOUT 20 INCHES AWAY FROM THE TURBO.

That graph looks scary. Back the timing off a hair more and richen it upa round peak V.E. (3500-4700 revs). You are pinging or somthing at thsoe rpms ranges...that hole in teh graph is evidence. Good numebrs tho. :D It's not running lean, my wideband shows around 13.5-12.5 in between those rpm's. T...

The core is 24x6x3. Yes I am going to get the end tanks cut and welded so they don't bend back like that. It should only cost around 50 bux to get the end tanks cut and welded, so a nice ic under 200(canadian dollars, not usd), is a great deal. These also have been tested and work well enough for do...

Dyno'd today with the local clubs dyno day. Only got one pull though. Hit 202hp/212tq, my clutch slipped hard at 3700 rpm so I'm sure my tq would've been atleast 230 or so, and hp may have hit maybe 210. I will post the sheet laters, when I upload it.

I went to home depot and instead of using the mcmaster 5/8 x 3/8 x 5/8 tee I found a 3/4 x 1/2 x 3/4 tee and jammed the hose on real hard like, since the hose is a little smaller, I made it fit though and it's been fine. Just grab 2 of those and tee of the 2 heater core lines on the passenger side o...

has anyone ever noticed on the exhaust side of the block there is a plug to drain the coolant. I was thinking of using that as a coolant return and just using one of the heater hoses as a coolant feed. I think this would make running coolant lines easier. Anyone ever thought about using it? If you look between your intake manifold and firewall there is your two heater core coolant lines, one comes from the intake manifold and the other comes from the block and they both go to obviously your heater core. I tee'd those off and ran them around the back of the block and used them for my co...

60's cutlass with 350

Driving home from my gf's work last night. I'm at a stop light and a 16 year old kid pulls up in a 60's cutlass(I'm pretty sure it was a cutlass), it says 350 on the side near the front headlights. Anyways, the light goes green and he takes off, mind you I wasn't even gonna race. So he's racing and ...

The Gtech is not an accurate measuring device. The best way to figure out your 1/4mile time is to go to the strip. So you're saying when I go to the track I'm gonna be a second faster than on the gtech? I doubt that very much, maybe half a second at the most. Oh and my cousin does a 14.6 on gtech, ...
