Honesty, by watching various other boards with other applications I've been seeing more oiling problems and they've been Precision units. :? Just an observation, I don't sell enough units to even warrant a monetary bias (Nor do I wish to sell turbocharger units). Tolerances in turbine bearings are e...

Their problem is that they use cheap thin materials and a standard wire welder. Because its made from old Chinese woks. We use MIG wire welders in all our fabrications. But our product is welded by people who are concerned with the quality of their work. IMO-When your product comes from a shipping ...

Received gate Friday, re-installed bolts with epoxy. First time since we've been building wastegates, all others haven't wanted to give up their fasteners and we have to install with never-seize to avoid galling while torquing. Anyhow the diaphragm assembly needed replaced which means epoxy needs to...

If your concerned about bolts backing out you should look into ones with drilled heads that can be safety wired together. Old t3s used to come with locking tabs from bolt to bolt. The GT style centers don't have a very long heat shield area so there isn't much room for fastener threads. Their like a...

I agree with JGS on this one, if a customer tries to modify a unit and it fails then it's not the manufactures fault. go buy a cheepie or borrow a wastegate for the dyno day and send in your wastegate to get properly serviced. That's the plan. I just sent Lance from JGS an email asking what the nex...

Looks like my old fan club is back, nice to see you too Jordan. What is being posted here is NOT what I have expressed. Here's the last e-mail I was sent to set the record straight- I don't see how the tune is the problem, my AFRs are below 12 and I am still using conservative timing values. I don't...

Its last on a LOOONG list of crap to do... Its been crossing my mind lately to sell, its purpose has passed for me. I hardly have enough time to run the biz much less devote time to overly complex pipe dream projects. The sequential setup isn't a pipe dream, it works. Its the rest of the car thats k...

It was also richer in the peak torque range.

I have been using a knocklite since they came out... still works today :) Doing some road tuning (cause the dyno is buried) bumping up the boost with a new ignition it definitely let me know when I'm pushing the deto limit... If its NOT going off your doing something right..,, sometimes deto won't h...

I had it on my old SOHC setup, FWI its like a very good SAFC with more features. More map spaces, timing adjustment (didn't use, just dist. retard), the the ability to stretch the fuel pulses, MAF clamp, etc. Install the map sensor and have boost based tuning. Is it the greatest solution? No. But it...

Yup, it runs OK. I have a MAF back on it so I can quit using the temperamental MAF to map conversion. I'd like to get it on the dyno and up the boost for some more fun. I have some 255 DRs for the back and I think it should actually hook pretty well for some local 8th mile fun. I now have quad shock...

Same postion as the SSAC headers and revhard... same problems, lots of info on this board about the fitment. They fit great if you have an old school on-center T4. Any tangential (the rest of the turbos in the world) turbos will cook mastercylinders. Even when a good turbo blanket is used its still ...

I feel like I'm going to break the shifter off.
Clutch drag from needing to bypass the dampener? I run a ACT extreme 240SX clutch.
Or tired syncros, etc? Fluid change? Gear oil right now.

MTL Its the priming pulse (when you turn the key ON it gives the engine a shot of fuel to help starting). Originally cal for stock now its too long for double the injectors. COLD spark plugs don't help either. I run 620cc on a DTEC-FCBC (ala SAFC basically) / 6 plugs and my cold start is a little ro...
