DP mani and im not 100% sure that the SR injectors fit the SOHC. just get a set of pre 1989 460cc rx7 injectors, high ohm ones will plug right in no restiors needed. the cold pipe on the intercooler wont fit a sohc eather, the TB is in a difrent place depends on how much the guy wants but i dont th...

only the first ~4-6 months of 1989 model year cars were 9:1, there were problems with blowing headgaskets, compression was promptly dropped to 8.6:1 for 89.5-90.

also, if you are going to have different size piping, the "idea" is to have larger piping on the throttle body side as to create a slightly higher draw across the intercooler. again..how much it actually does, debatable.

Spool time isn't really what you are concerned about when you are talking about IC piping size, because a KA is going to put out 1-2psi at 2000rpm on any medium sized turbo regardless. I don't think anyone is flooring it below that and execting response. what you should be concerned about however, i...

The new home for the new motor

Well I've been building a "built" SOHC KA for it seems like almost as long as Los has (just kidding.) and I finally found a more suitable home for it than an S13. http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i81/ryanlamaster/IMG_1765.jpg It currently sits engineless and on stock suspension, so I've g...

I am asking this because I am considering eliminating my intercooler just for simplicity reasons. This car is just going to remai...
