As a reference
Its most likely your engine mounts Its suppose to be offset.
If you have any mounts that are straight thread from bottom to top that will make you not line up. Also if you put the wrong sided offset

Re: Importdude's build 2.0- 14 year come back
As a UPDATE. July 2022 when cruising I somehow spun a bearing #4. This was going 60mph and barely any throttle I disassembled the block and found #3/4 rod bearing heated and fused to the crank. Not Sure what happened, but I'm thinking the machine shop did not check the bearings and or bent crank (sh...

ARP main studs last 2 are too short
There are 3 longer studs. the last 2 toward the flywheel are barely showing any threads past the nut. all studs were hand screwed into block . All bottomed out the block, since the threads were cleaned. Can i safely just back up the studs alittle for the last 2 studs? Someone suggested just backing ...

Re: Head lifting issues solved Permenantly!!!

Re: Head lifting issues solved Permenantly!!!
For anyone that did this, and duncan,
I just took a look there is no way the washer insert will fit. Machine shop suggesting to shorten the collar so its able to slip under the bucket castings
Is that what is needed?

Re: Best T3 manifold for the money?
The Felpro ones are good. But these are much thicker and compress and expand to the flange. very neat. I was going to run the copper/metal 1 pcs one but looking at it i felt like its gonna be hard to seal. The manifold/turbo itself is super heavy. the flange is usually very thick also. with this typ...

I recently bought an S14. Its all basically stock. It has the factory fogs lights on it. I pulled the plug from behind it and it is plugged into a factory plug and comes from the factory harness.
