Outside shot would be to check your main engine ground ( the big wire that attaches to your intake manifold ) those do corrode after a while.

Pack your pump with assembly lube before you put the cover on it. Yes definately check that there is a good seal between the pump and pick up tube.

I would a thin layer of silicone under mine to help them seal.

If you have the money to spend on VP import go for it. It is supposedly one of the best dino fuels out there. I will stick with the corn gas for the price though.

I know of some race cars with it and they are still going after 2 years. Mine has SS for the first 2-3 feet then it is aluminum from there back. No probs here but when I redo it it will most likely be aluminum all the way.
