A lot of people use Supertechs, I prefer the Ferrea's. I believe the PDM cams are ground from billet blanks, so you shouldn't need shims that are extra-thick. Well, even if we disregard the distributor issue completely, the truck motor has individual main caps rather than the girdle setup of the 240, an external mounted oil pump, and a rear sump. The FWD KA's are totally different, mounting points are different, accessory brackets, etc. Stick with the 240...
