I will say this; out of all the JWT ecus' I've messed with none of them really idled right the first time. But it was because of my mistakes. I will say this, Ben at JWT is a straight forward guy, He has helped me countless times (though albeit hard to get a hold of) but he's done great and helped m...

duh you are right oil man, sorry for the bad info. I know on both of my jwt setups (555 nismo and z32, and 96 lbs w lightning maf) both setups the car ran fine when it was cold out. The only time I had an issue with cold start was because of the CTS. Beyond that never really had a problem. Also if t...

I've backed headstuds out with an impact gun and have never had an issue with a cometic gasket. I think it's an assembly issue.... maybe some people aren't mechanically inclined or lack common sense. Ouch, that stung a bit. I dunno I never had any luck with the cometic ones, except for the first on...

were you able to get into boost? Was the coolant res blowing coolant? If so the head isn't sealing thus meaning dun dun dunnnnnn one of your surfaces isn't sealing. Personally I think you need to get a second opinion from a different machine shop. Also are you using new or old head studs? Might be s...

where are you stationed at? I'm at Killeen/FT. Hood, I have a lot of customers that come leave their cars with me while they are in iraq. I dunno how your shop is, but it's hard to get a hold of soldiers that deploy. A lot of times I'll get deposits into my account via USAA, and not know what to do ...

I use a zeitronix, I've been using them for a few years now. Great wideband I love the datalog feature of it; (with laptop) it datalogs; TPS, RPM, Boost, and WB. So when I do a third gear pull I keep my eye on the display until it goes lean, then I can go back and adjust accordingly. I love it, work...

I did this on my supra. I found a metal check valve (for something around my shop dunno what it's for and what it belongs to, hopefully not someone's flux capacitor or something semi-important) and I threaded it on one end, and it screws into one of my o2 sensor bungs on my DP. I didn't use a a slas...
