Disconnect the wastegate so you dont build any boost. 7lbs will blow a bottom end regardless of RPM's.

If you install those injectors without a tune, you wont even be able to run your car, dont even try.

Thanks....Never heard of that..... I'll make sure to torque it to specs when I replace it... I'm just bummed that I have to tear back into it.... :( When I over torqued mine, I just pulled the valve cover and reached down to the tensioner with a long 10mm wrench and backed off the bolts a 1/4 turn,...

You probably over torqued the tensioner. If you make it too tight the piston will bind and the tensioner will jam in.

How exactly did you determine that they werent SFI certified? I just wonder what kind of proceedure SFI impliments to make sure people are stamping their parts properly etc. I would assume you have to submit a part to them to assure quality clearance etc, but once you get the A OK to certify your pa...

Something is wrong with the pressure plate. ive tested it on a bearing and spun the flywheel up no wooble, spun the flywheel and pressure plate up and its woobles everytime. Just to clarify regarding the F1/XTD flywheel. They are the same. I bought both kits and the flywheel came in the same box etc. They are the same part included in both kits. Jmcc did PM me etc and we're cool. He mentioned in his last PM that he installed the clutch kit back onto his OEM flywheel and...

I have had a xtd flywheel for 3 years and beat the piss out of it. Had it resurfaced one time and the guys at the place said never come back because it was so hard it ate one of there grinding wheels. I could be happier with mine. Im surprised you even bothered! Grinding costs almost half as much a...

Mine worked with the factory lug nuts. Hit up autozone or whatever you have around you and asking for OEM nuts. They should work, or they should atleast have ones that will.

If you're so smart, look at the pressure plate/flywheel figure out the intolerance, photograph it and post the results.

A clutch kit is incredibly simple for people with your talent, you should be able to balance it on the end of your finger and feel how out it is.

It was hardly a claim. I looked over the very ad he posted 2 times and didnt see that statement. It isnt on any of the other auctions selling the same flywheel. You need to learn to read between the lines... "All XTD clutch parts are SFI Certified Specification)" This doesnt mean they're certified, merely that they meet the specifications to be certified. In other words, the parts COULD be certified, but they arent. Selling you a sticker doesnt ma...

Well as far as the holes in the OEM flywheel, if you flip it over you can see that the stock flywheel is cast so there is going to be uneven distribution in the casting etc. The billet moly flywheels are machined right out of a solid piece of higher quality material, they shouldnt require any additi...

No offense, but dont buy cheap ebay taiwan parts and complain about this type of stuff. Its just a given. This is why people pay 3 times more for ACT... when you pay 1/3rd you have to expect a bit less than high end perfection. Im running an XTD flywheel and clutch kit, holds 400+whp no problem. If ...

Not really. The crank is independantly balanced OEM. When you install the rods/pistons you can have them weighed and matched to make the best pairs possible as far as weight. Ie heaviest piston w/ lightest rod etc. They'll all be super close as is though.

I dont know how long it takes you to save your money, but if pistons are $500 and rods & pistons are $750, i'd wait a couple more weeks until you can get both. Then you know you have a bullet proof bottom end.

When you have the valve cover off, put a wrench on the cam gear and turn it to suck up the slack in the chain, see if the tensioner guide follows the chain out or not when you shift the slack to the tensioner side. Im not sure if you did valve springs, but I suppose its possible the springs are forc...

You probably over tightened the bolts on the tensioner. I've done this before, once you go too tight it will clamp the piston and it will jam in. Back the bolts off a half turn or so and see if the tensioner pops back out.
