Those are 8 heat range it looks like. Try going one down to 7. We mostly use BKR7E plugs. I hope the tips did not mess up the walls. The pics make it look like the tips broke off.

Too cold of plugs will not heat up enough to clean itself which will then foul out. Detonation usually causes the tips to break.

I did have bcpr7es plugs in but my mapper removed them and fitted the irid 8's, engine has a knock now :-)
Stripped the bottom end down and both mains and big ends are perfect.

Going to carry out a compression test later and see if there is any tell tail signs of damage. If not the the engine will have to come out yet again :-(

Did a compression test and these are the results.
150/130/118/130
Gone down from 190 all cylinders.
Being asked this by the person mapping the car....compression ratio which I'm guessing should be 9.0:1 with CP Pistons and he wants to know the cc volume of the head and piston @ TDC. Please excuse my ignorance but I don't know how to work that out :-(
Surely a new engine built meticulously should last more than 1 day without it knocking and melting the plugs ?

Any help would be appreciated fella's
Cheers

Oh dear I am now the not so proud owner of this POS. Had nothing but trouble was sold to me as perfect but lasted the journey back home and then got loss of coolant alarms. There was no external leak so we all can guess where the water was going! Anyway due to things that went on in my personal life could not deal with him at the time and lost interest in the car and almost caused a divorce (money I spent on the vehicle was reserved for an AUDI). Anyway had some time recently and confirmed that cylinder 3 passing combustion gasses into water. Found mechanic in a bottle stuff in the heater matrix etc etc :-( Ended up needing to skim 15thou off the head. This guy claimed he was some sort of engine god but built an engine without knowing the final CR!!!! Havent crushed the gasket after the skim but it is looking like I will be in the region of 7.3:1 to 7.13:1. After he put low CR pistons in. Static compression was 170 apart from number 3 which was 156 prior to me tearing it apart.

Yes, finally got some time to at least get it to some sort of reliable motor. I have found previous threads all over the place on here before I owned it. He had been tinkering with the TPS as well so it was not hitting the idle routine. Considering that HG was not in good shape can take a picture of the cometic that was on it, it actually drove ok. Think leak was that small it was just turning into vapour rather than diluting or sludging up the oil. Done around 800 miles in 3 years plus of owning it and 300 or so of them was picking it up. I think he must have been filling the water up the same time as the petrol :-)

HAHA...I did not have luck with the Cometic and the fire ring separating. I went Cosworth and that stopped my issue. Good luck with her.

Cannot find the cosworth gasket. Gone for felpro, only running 22psi hopefully the ARP studs with this gasket will suffice. If I read correctly others have used timecerts and machined the arp nuts to fit the limted space in the head? TBH others have standard bottom end and got away with around what this is putting out with a good map and the felpro hopefully I can be as lucky. There was always some doubt with the timing map on the AEM2 have enabled knock monitoring with the recommended settings for the bosch sensor and all seems quiet. However I did find a thread where there was some doubt on the spark table. Here is where it is at now
