Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Help
Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator Help
I just installed an ISR fuel pressure regulator and its getting around 17 psi and when I try to adjust it nothing happens. The car is running fine and I even tried to adjust it with just the fuel pump on but nothing. I have a 255 isr fuel pump in the car that I got with the car and it was still in packaging so I don't think it's the pump. Any ideas on what it could be?

Is the gauge working okay? Check against another gauge somehow.
Are the lines hooked up in the right way? Make sure you are not flowing into the return port.
You might want to contact the manufacturer if you still have warranty and everything is okay above. If no warranty take the top half of the regulator off and make sure the shims, spring, piston, and seat all look okay. If the piston got assembled crooked somehow or the seat is damaged you will get a lot of bypass and low pressure.
