Best ways to run oil/water lines

Post by Brisket »

Hi all,

All the the threads on these topics are now 8-10 years old and I'm wondering if there are better ways available now to run oil and water to and from the turbo.

Hope you can share any products you came across that make the process easier!

I've been sourcing coolant from the drain plug on the block and sending it back to the upper radiator hose. Using 1/2" heater hose and some heat sleeves near the turbo.

I'm interested in seeing some solid lines or AN/braided lines. It's a good topic to start!

This is how I've run mine.Coolant from the block drain and return to the radiator. Oil from the filter block through a 40psi regulator and draining back into the side of the oil pan.

I have -6AN line on my KA. One coming from the line tee'd the block to the heater core, and one going back into the block from the plug under cylinder #3 exhaust port.
