Wondering if this groove on this ka crankshaft where the rear main rides is ok

Yes that is wear from the old seal. When you re-install the new rear main seal just make sure the oil seal lip (inside) is not sitting right in that groove. You should be able to press the seal into the cover but only 80-90% in. Put light amount of oil and put the cover on, then take it off and see where that lip is sitting versus the groove.
