In the process of building out my car (1997) using an AEM Infinity and am looking at idle control options. I know that from the factory the car has multiple valves and solenoids that help control the idle. My question is what I should plan on keeping if anything? I want a car which is very drivable and behaves as normal on the road. I assume that they work in conjunction to help control idle, is one doing the heavy lifting? I do not have A/C anymore.

IACV-Air Regulator
Thanks!

Re: KAT - Standalone Idle Control, which valve?
The important valve is the one that is bolted to the back of the intake manifold with the idle adjust screw. The round solenoid, not the long hex shaped piece with the connector on the end.
