AutoCon came to the Eastcoast for the first time! So after a proapproval process and registration completion, this event was in the schedule. It was NOT AT ALL an easy process to get there though. With the chassis still at the shop for fabrication work the morning of "drop-off day" at the show, there was a huge rush to get everything ready.
The whole body was dirty and had pineneedles on it, no bumper, no sideskirts and some other missing pieces. Running super behind time-wise, found the organizer's number and notified them that we were on the way with two cars (would've been 3, but that's a different story, hah). Then more traffic and further behind in schedule, but I was able to contact the organizers were kind enough to stay a little longer until we arrived. Some how we got there before they closed the doors to the convention center and now focus shifted toward the rush to get "show-ready" for the next day.
