Wow ^ :?

Why would you just paint over everything? Looks sloppy as ****. Not sure what you were trying to gain by posting it.

The actual color looks good. But the overall project screams half assed.

Way to be an ass. I know what I'm doing. I'm dripping another engine in here in the next couple weeks. it was my choice to paint the bay and I'm going back and putting all new hoses and **** on there. u act as if I'm leaving it that way

Dude. I paint for a living, that would never be acceptable in my shop.

You painted the nuts/ fuse box/a/c parts/ bmc/windshield/piece where the windshield wipers go/ vin plate,/engine harness/brake lines/Windshield wiper motor, hoses. The list goes on.

Would have saved you a headache if you took the time to mask **** off.

I am sure the general consensus would be half assed if we took a poll.... Who wants their car looking like that? What does "dripping" another motor in have to do with all the paint you should remove off of parts that should not be painted?

Well dude did you say " don't worry I'll be changing all the painted parts"? Nope so by the post it seems like someone got a painter to mix the paint for him and then painted over everything he saw.

And no offense dude its hard for me to believe you are going to replace everything painted (bolts, fusebox brake booster etc)... I would have taken everything I could off and masked what I couldn't...

While the motor does look good. I guess I am just one picky mother *****. I would have taken out all the bolts before painting. That is actually what I did. Hit them with a wire wheel they look good as new. I mean the motor is already out....

-Intake mani bolts
-Front cover bolts
-Water pump pulley bolts

Valve cover looks very nice. BTW that hard line coming from the FPR can be eliminated. Just run a new hose from the FPR to the return line going to the tank

What about the 2 hard lines on the driver side that went to the charcoal canister. heard many different stories but never got an exact answer. one releaves pressure off he tank and somebody said to cut it under the car to get rid of it outta the engine bay?

the one in the engine bay relieves pressure. Just bend it out of the way(dont pinch it off), also you can put a breather on it if you dont trust it just hanging there. you can also cut the line if you know what you are doing.
I left mine in my bay.

I personally don't like the gold but I can appreciate the cleanness of the motor and the time to do it.

uber liberals here to save the day

Part of building the car is to learn you are building it for yourself. I don't protect or down-talk because it doesn't matter. If he was asking an opinion directly then I'd comment.
