Hey, real quick, is there anyone that makes intake blanks for building a custom intake, or does everyone just have to cut down there own?

The big elbow on the TB looks scary @ full boost, like its gunna pop, and I did have it blow off @ the track a few times even after double clamping it. We did some pulls on the new Dyno last nite and nothing went wrong. The thermal intake manifold gasket helped.
Cooling is my main concern right now not power. If the WG and DP wouldn't loosen all the time It would be reliable. I do a once over/overhaul before most events. (Not by choice) just how it goes.

How much money do you have into materials (the new plenum, runners, and plenum plate)?

Trubo? Little over $400.00 cause I paid for the plenum with other plans.
If I built another I would not use the Expencive plenum. But it did have a nice shape to
it and it can be serviced/cleaned. When I bought the plenum, I didn't plan on making a custom intake with the fuel rail and throttlebody.
I could have bought a Gatos for the trouble but it was fun and it looks cool.

You have to move/remove power steering to run the Gato's too. You cant beat custom.

My power steering is working very well. Its -6AN Aeroquip. I had some isues with it at the track getting mushy after 50 min of smashing. Then I installed a 8x6'' -6 tranny cooler and replaced the fluid with some Redline. Way better, I recomend tryin that fluid.

As I was testing the powersteering I was just using ATF.

Excessive is the only one I have seen so far too.

With an intake setup like that, do you just tune out the IAC, how is cold starting and drivability?

Keep looking there out there. Try Jordan Inovations. Or Ross machine.

If you want a plenum, I could cut and form something like what I did on page 3 here.

It holds boost better and doesn't waste it. I dont spend time @ idle so I dont care about that. Cody was able to make it Idle so smooth its perfect to me.
Now for some colder exhaust gas! More Meth @ 1 bar. I dont do very well drifting over 20psi, the new clutch slipps and I spin more. When I get this down and figure out the new ignition I might run more boost. The HEat under the engine bay @ 1 bar is ok but 20psi + is too much heat.
