The biggest hicccup I've run into so far is transmission and pistos/rods.
The crank is forged, I'd like to keep it and run forged pistons and rods, sadly the pistons and rods for the truck are press fit so I'll have to replace the set.
Should I just use forged 240SX free floating pistons and rods?
Does anyone have a good source on these?

Re: Pistons and Rods KA24E
If it is your daily car==> Do not use forged pistons....it will eat the cylender wall due to the required clearance ...i just took them out....use cast with 0.06mm wall clearance and 0.55 & 0.45 clearance for those compression rings ....0.55 for the top comp ring ....all numbers are in mm
Take care

Buy nissan xterra KA24DE original OEM pistons and the comp ratio will be about 9.2:1
