You will need an engine management that supports multiple ignition outputs. (AEM)

You can use the inernals of the distributor. You will no longer use the spark plug wires off the cap or the cap itself. Simply remove the cap and rotor button.

What outputs would you use in the aem and what all has to be changed in the calibations. I am also running with an AEM EMS and was thinking about doing this.

Some people never answer. I am just searching trying to see what I have to do to
not run a cap and rotor on my E. Just brousing but didn't want to cludder the
forum with stupid questions so Ill be looking into the best way to do this.
I am not in any hury to run 4 coils cause I just hardwired my MSD one do
at least I touched on the subject for now. Knowledge never hurt though.

You will have to run an AEM ems.

-Route the individual coil signal wires from the AEM to the coils
-Distribute power & ground wires for the coils

As for the distributor: you can just remove the distributor cap and wires. You also do not need to run the plug that has two wires on your distributor

Also, yes you will have to make some changes to the calibration in order for the coils to work.
