Shop drag car doing work

Our shop drag car out at a test n tune day, testing out the new driveshaft shop R230 stub shafts. We kept shearing the factory stub shafts in the R230rear end about 10-20ft out.

Some data on a normal pass without breaking something and not putting it on the rear bumper.

2.6g's on the launch
1.9sec 0-60mph time
1.21 60ft
5.30 @126
8.40@162

Holy crap. I don't think I've ever seen a S14 lift that high on launch, especially not with IRS... :bowdown:
Wiseco/Eagle, JWT S1 cams, BC valve springs, PT5857, ID1700 injectors, SR20DET ECU w/ Nismotronic, COP conversion with LS ignition coils, etc, etc...

Is the r230 the q45 diff setup?

That is impressive for the s14 irs..... My buddy had a turbo lsx s14 and all it did was blow the tires off. He's building another one this winter, I might have to hit you up for some basic pointers to help get the power to the ground. I know nothing when it comes to this stuff

Is it an auto or manual? A local fella (who is unfortunately not with us anymore), built a turbo LSX S14 with a stalled auto several years ago. With a Q45 diff and mostly stock rear suspension, he ran an 8.76 @ 156. He was having a hell of a time hooking up until he switched from Megan lowering springs back to the OEM springs/struts.

Auto car... Truck motor 5.3, twin eBay T70's, hp tuner, built turbo 350, q45 diff. Thing was geared to short, had to let out around the 1000ft mark, haha. Next one will have a 4L60 behind it and a hx55 in front

That thing got down, bad ass
